Youth Challenge is a center for physically and mentally challenged children, 3-18 years of age. With summer programs and an after-school program, the Youth Challenge is a safe, effective learning environment for its visitors, and additionally provides respite for the family, a fun afternoon for the child, and is a priceless life-changing learning experience for student volunteers. This past year the owners of Youth Challenge purchased the building, which houses both Youth Challenge and The Gathering Place. Bob Krueger helped with the transaction, raising of money for renovations, and executing the renovations.
